Light or Dark Kitchen Countertops?

A cream colored or light brown granite countertop often creates a summery or beach-like feel, regardless of the room it rests in. Adding or changing a kitchen backsplash is a remarkably easy way to transform your kitchen.

If you are going for the contemporary look in your kitchen, you should definitely consider stacked, multi-colored glass mosaic tiles as an option.

Obviously, a granite countertop is a centerpiece, so having it blend in anonymously probably isn’t what you’re going for. Making sure that the granite countertop color is complimented by the surrounding fixtures is, well, ideal.
